Bobby Carrot 1-4 (classics) are coming to the iPhone this year 2009. We can expect each prequel to be released per month starting from Bobby Carrot 1 CLSX which is released on end of March 2009. Bobby Carrot 4 CLSX is going to be released in June 2009.

Basically in Bobby Carrot 1 classic, your task is to accompany a cute rabbit named “Bobby Carrot” throught beautifully crafted levels and collect all carrots to open the magic exit leading to the next level. The player has to face clever environmental puzzles based on traps and obstacles which are blocking the path.

There are two game modes for this Bobby Classics game. You can compete in Carrot Mode or Easter egg mode. In Easter egg mode, you need to plant all the required easter eggs in order to open up the exit portal. Once you plant the easter egg, it will becomes an obstacle to prevent you from going backwards. Who says it is going to be easy? I reckon the easter egg mode is good for quick play. If you want a long enjoying game, get bobby carrot forever or participate in the Carrot game mode.

There are 30 levels in the Carrot game mode and 25 levels in the easter egg mode. Altogether, there are 55 cleverly designed levels. The controls are similar to the arcade games’ type of controls. You can use the joystick. However, there are swipe 1 and 2 controls available if there are users who find using a joystick a hassle.

There are various traps and obstacles. If you run over the metal spikes trap, it will be activated. Once activated, it becomes an obstacle. There are conveyor switches, rotary stones and switches in the game. You have to find out how they work in order to maximise your advantage against them or they will work against you, making you stranded in the level.

Personally, I think play bobby carrot makes my brain work harder as there are puzzles to solve throughtout the game. It is an enjoyable game for people who are new to bobby carrot series of games. Of course, some gamers might find the small screen disturbing when playing the game and there is no wizard this time to aid you when you are stuck in a level unlike in bobby carrot forever.
