Invasion of the Zakks is a game where you need to avoid giant alien crushing robots with one intent – that is to destroy and kill you. Sounds like terminator, isn’t it?

Each move you make along the squares determines your life or death. The robots will move towards you. If you can’t lose them, they will destroy you while sacrificing themselves in the process.
I notice when you explode two robots, they burn a hole in the floor. Your task is to lure them into the site of the crash to survive. The number of robots and their formation varies throughtout the levels, which makes it entertaining to play.

There are two game modes available in the game – marathon mode and puzzle mode. In marathon mode, you have teleportation and bombs to use. You have a limited number of teleports to use. The mist icon above in the screenshot represents the teleport ability. Once you use them up, you can still teleport but you might just rematerialize next to a giant alien-eating robot. In puzzle mode, all you have is your quick wits to survive!

There are lots of levels in the marathon mode as well as the puzzle mode. Great game for killing some idle time if you have some on your hand. The game will save its progress even if someone calls you and you can resume your game after your call. I will recommend this game if you are a mechwarrior fan or into solving puzzles of these type.
