iGem is an action or reflexion game that is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game depends on reflexes, strategy and speed to derive the greatest pleasure when you play this game.

There are three game modes for this game – puzzle, classic and endless. The classic game mode lets you move the colored blocks together to form squares or rectangles. After they form the shapes, you need to tap on them to make them shatter in pieces. The rest of the blocks will come tumbling downwards. It is your task to clear as many colored blocks as possible like a Tetris game.

There is also a hidden trick. You can summon a helper function that is located at the bottom right hand corner of the game screen. The number 3 denotes you have 3 chances of activating this helper function to clear the blocks. Do not activate the hourglass timer function under the helper or you will regret it. The hourglass timer will count down and the game will end!

In endless mode, the game has a different set of rules. You have to make different types of combos together to achieve a total set of points. The aim of this game mode is to achieve the highest points using more combination of combos.

In the puzzle game mode, your task is to create and move colored blocks to a certain formation as shown below the screen. When you align each block to their desired location, the block will have a star to reflect it is in the correct position and after that, you need to move the other blocks to assigned places again. It is fixed to that location once aligned. You have to be quick to move the rest of the blocks to achieve the desired pattern. There are more than 30 puzzles to complete in the puzzle mode.

The game supports online scoreboards for the three game modes so you can compare how well you fare against people from around the world.
