Blue Attack! Game Review & Giveaway “Closed”

Blue Attack! is a game that portraits you as a fighter pilot which is fighting for the Blue force. This game lets you fly a plane unlike blue defense. Each time, you destroy the enemies’ ships, you gain scraps as resources which you can turn into an unstoppable army!

Basically in the game, you scout around for Red forces before they get near to your Blue mothership. Your task is to destroy them before they harm your mothership. You are able to add wingmen and change their formations, set off bombs and much more as a fighter pilot.

blue_controls

There are two types of controls – touch and tilt. I prefer to use the tilt control. Basically, tilt is hassle free. I just need to tilt forward, backward, left and right to fly my fighter plane freely. To slow down your plane, tilt less.

The enemies comes in all shapes and sizes. Their main weakness is the round red smiley face. Once you destroy that, their ship will be blown into bits. However, I met a big red smiley face which is the boss which I am unable to destroy as it is bigger than I thought!

There are various upgrades in this game. You can choose formation upgrades, adding more wingmen, speed upgrades and improve your current weapons.

You can play the game in either campaign or infinite mode. The infinite mode is a continuous game where you get to destroy as many enemies as you can before you get overwhelmed by them. The campaign mode lets you move from different planets in the solar system which are coming to destroy your mothership! Destroy them before they destroy you!

There is also a huge library of tutorials to familarise yourself with the game. Therefore, I will say it is a well-equiped game with good tutorials and nice controls.

Overall, I rate this a very good game. It makes me keep coming back for more, especially the thrill of having to pilot my blue fighter plane.  For a price of $1.99, I believe it is worth buying.

Check out the game on iTunes now .

Note: I giving away one promo code for Blue Attack! Let me know why you deserve this game and comment on this review and you might be the lucky winner of this game.

    I deserve this game because…

Well to be honest, I don’t deserve it. I just want it. So if I win…thanks so much :).. But if not, hopefully it will go to someone better.

BTW, the game looks super cool, I love the neon look.

This game looks spectacular. I think I like Blue Attack! more than Blue Defense, since attack seems to be more complex and developed 😛

The review is good in that it offers many screenshots in different aspects of the game, coupled with a short description on what’s shown on the screenshot.
It could be improved by perhaps giving the app a upon 5 rating, based on separate attributes of the game, for instance:

    Graphics: 5/5
    Sound/Music: 4/5
    Fun: 4/5
    Addictiveness: 5/5
    Value for money: 4/5
    Overall 4.5/5

    ..Something like that.

Anyway, I think I would deserve this as much as anyone else that participates but it’ll be awesome if I could have it since I don’t have a credit card nor an itunes gift card retailer in my country =/

I really like this type of game. I’ve read some of the forum threads on this, just never have bought it. Maybe I could win it. That would be cool.

I deserve this game because I’m poor.

The review was pretty good, a video would have been nice. I’ve been interested in this game, wouldn’t say the review swayed me towards getting it or not.

The review could be improved if it was given a score at the end, either on a 5 scale, 10, or even simply a letter grade.

In reference towards graphics and such, on the iPhone it’s mostly negligible and one can easily judge from the screenshots if the graphics fit his/her own preferences.

Otherwise pretty good review, as I said a video would have been best, however you pretty much covered all the bases. The only reason a score would be appropriate is for lazy individuals, like me, who just want to scroll down and look at the final results rather than reading everything in between.

I don’t deserve this but am VERY interested. I love finding new games and telling it to my friends and groups. If I get a code, I will assure you, I will advertise this to everyone I know! I can’t wait untill I can play! I might even review it! 😉 Thanks Guys!

I would like a code because as a writer, I could give a fair and honest review in the app store 🙂

Hy565 won the blue attack! code for giving the most unique comment about improving the reviews on this site.

Enjoy the game and remember to give an iTunes review for the game to reward the developers to work so hard for it.

    Thanks!
