Springball Game Review & Giveaway!

27 Mar

If you are a soccer fan and love playing football, you will not want to miss this game.

The purpose of this game is to keep the ball high and never let the ball hit the ground. In the game, you have to earn 6 stars to play the professional games. This makes the gamer keep on playing to get the levels unlocked. Quite a good strategy for a ball game!

The stars are awarded to the gamer if they meet certain goals of the game in each level like 5000 points, x30 speed bonus or 15 seconds multi.

There are three game modes for this game. Either you play shoot the ball through the hoops or you play the high line which is to hit the ball over your head to reach over the line to score points. The last game mode is to test your skills in the Pro Games. In this game, there are different balls for you to choose to juggle above your head. Isn’t that great?

The controls of the game are fine. I have no problem tilting and tapping within the game. To move your character around, you need to tilt your iphone or ipod touch. To shoot the ball, you just need to tap on your character. The hoops are actually brown rings where you hit the ball through. Once you hit the ball through, you gain some combo points.

The game features realistic ball movements and character physics. Sometimes, if I don’t catch the ball with my head, I can use my hands to keep the ball bouncing in the air although I know that is not within the game rules of soccer. The funny thing is my hands seems detached from my body. When I fail to keep the ball above the ground, my character will change his facial expression which I feel is fun. There is feedback like these which keeps me playing!

Overall, I feel it is a great game that is worth getting for the price of $1.99.

Graphics: 4/5
Sound/Music: 4/5
Fun: 5/5
Addictiveness: 5/5
Value for money: 5/5
Overall 4.7 /5

Get the game on iTunes now.

Note: I have two codes for Springball. Let me know what you expect from the updates of this game and why you deserve this game by submitting a comment in this review. You might just be the winner!

i’ve seen the video. i think this game would be fun. hoops mode reminds me of pingball. 😀 for the update, i would suggest two things: (1) please give him neck and arms. the way his head and hands are not attached to his body is distracting. 🙂 (2) in multi-balls mode, would be nice if the balls are different types and sizes.

I would like to have the game cause i miss this type of ball heading game and have been waiting for it on iphone!!! I would hope on the next update that some bombs would drop on random times to distract the player. Player would have to dodge those bombs.
