Sprills: The Mystery of Bermuda Triangle Game Review

9 Apr

Sprills : The Mystery of Bermuda Triangle is a beautiful and well-crafted version of the popular hidden objects game.

What exactly is a hidden objects game you might asked? This kind of game lets you search amidst one object in the middle of many scattered objects around in a picture. This is the feeling of finding a needle in a haystack!

The aliens lost the ledgendary Pearl of Poseidon. This object is very important to them for survival. They have abducted many ships and planes in the bermuda triangle in hope that someone from the ships and planes will help them find the pearl of Poseidon.

You as the brave fox cub – Sprill must begin the search amidst the deep waters to find virtually any clues in the cabins and cargo bays of the many sunken ships that leads the way to the Pearl or the aliens will not let you off to the surface of the water!

My impressions of the game:

1. There is a notebook in every level that tells you the list of objects you need to find. The game’s objectives are clear so you can get a headstart in the game even when you are a newbie at hidden object games.

2. You can enlarge the picture using iphone or ipod touch zoom capabilities and move the picture left to right to find the object stated in the notebook. You can also tilt your idevice in whatever position you like – vertically or horizontally to aid yourself in finding the hidden object. Once you found the object, it will disappear in a white ring of sparks and the list in the notebook will get smaller as you progress.

3. You can only use the hint button two times in the game. Sometimes, this option will highlight to you the hidden object you need. Sometimes, it will just zoom in to let you see the object.

4. Tapping on the wrong object will invite a timer penalty and this shortens the time you have to complete the game.

5. There are 10 sunken ships in total with 32 game episodes which happen in 36 different game locations! You certainly can play this game for a long period of time.  Certainly a game that is value for money with lots of replay value!

Graphics: 5 /5
Sound/Music: 5/5
Fun: 4/5
Addictiveness: 4/5
Value for money: 5/5
Overall: 4.8 /5

Check out the game on iTunes for $1.99.

Sprill sounds like a great addictive game I love the graphics. The only things I would do to make the game more enjoyable is if it has levels to offer more than two tries at the hints. It takes me a while when I am learning a new game to get the full scope of everything. Thanks for the giveaway.

It is a finding hidden objects game. Basically, you find the objects listed on the notebook out of the messy junk.
