San Mateo, CA.,–May 20, 2009 – Digital Chocolate, a quality leader in mobile gaming, today announced that Johnny Crash is now available on the Apple App Store. Redesigned for the iPhone and iPod touch, players can use the innovative accelerometer feature to shoot stuntman Johnny Crash out of a cannon and control his movements by tilting the device to send him soaring through the air crashing into helicopters, UFOs, vultures, oil rigs, tornados, lightning storms, and even cattle (ouch!).
“Johnny Crash is an insanely fun game to play where the objective is to be destructive and cause as much damage to the main character as possible,” said Trip Hawkins, CEO of Digital Chocolate. “Luckily, he’s a professional and we do not recommend people try the stunts at home.”
This painfully addictive game includes several levels that take place in either Texas or New York City as well as the ability to unlock new power-ups and objects to crash into.
The goal of the game is to crash into as many dangerous items in the sky as possible. The more outrageous your stunts, the more points you earn. Players can take snapshots of Johnny while he is in flight and collect his achievements in a scrapbook. Just had a glorious crash? You can watch your last superstar flight in Replay Mode. Play with friends in pass-and-play style and see who can gain the ultimate daredevil status.
Johnny Crash is available for $2.99 from Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/.
There is also a free version available that will provide a limited number of levels. For more information about Digital Chocolate’s apps for iPhone and iPod touch please visit www.digitalchocolate.com/iPhone.
