Modulo Game Review

1 May

Modulo is a rotating puzzle piece kind of game. You need to touch a puzzle piece to rotate it. The correct way to solve the puzzle is to get all the puzzle pieces with their arrows pointing upwards.

The tricky part of playing this game is that some puzzle piece is connected to other pieces. If you rotate these pieces, they will rotate too and you will have one more problematic piece to rotate back to its original “good” position.

The number of moves you make is shown clearly in the game. There are also encouraging words being shown after you solve one puzzle. The words differs each time you solve a level. This game is like cracking the code to a safe with lots of combination. You have to get the correct combination to solve this puzzle!

If you feel bored playing at your current stage, you are welcome to jump to the next stage. You are able to continue your skipped levels next time you play this game.

You should not fear that there will not be enough levels in this game as there are 180 puzzles in total. You are able to test your endurance as well as your reflexes in solving the puzzles in the least number of moves and yet the shortest time.

I think if it doesn’t already, it should have a challenge mode, where you can race against the clock and/or timetrial mode.

180 Levels? That’s great. I’m always looking for tons of levels in puzzle games. Something that may need improving could be the speed at which the shapes turn. After playing over tons of levels, it seems like the slow turning speed would be annoying.
