The story of this game is a witch’s magic helps bring a gingerbread man back to life. Your mission is to help him gain his freedom out of the oven.
One good thing about this game is that it is casual side scroll platformer that anyone can pick it up on how to play in very little time. Sometimes, it is very tricky to play as you have to swing in the air using your candy cane. The game is made to let the game to have prolonged game play as it takes 7 to 10 minutes to finish right from the start to the end.
It is very easy to die in the game but if you follow the following game rules, you will last longer.
There are normal and special jelly beans to collect while you are controlling the gingerbread man to run across the screen. If you collect alphabet jelly beans to form the word “Freedom”, you can get an extra life in the game itself.
The game controls are visible at the bottom of the screen. The gingerbread man will move automatically to the right of the screen. All you need to do to help the gingerbread man jump or slide through the obstacles is by tapping on the relevant “Jump” or “Slide” buttons.
The Candy Cane swing is actually a combo move meaning you have to tap jump and slide quickly, one button after the other to help the gingerbread man swing across the fixtures from the ceiling. It is hard to do this combo move unless you have some practice.
Overall, I feel this game is worth buying for a price of $0.99. It is rare to find a platform game at such a price which gives you so much fun. There is no online scoreboards at the moment but the developer will create a level for hell mode in the coming updates of the game.
