Jelly Defense Game Review

16 Nov

I enjoyed playing this game because it is one of those tower defense games which has nice music and wacky sounds when you interact with the game itself.

The interesting part of this game is the game level selection phase. When you turn the globe too fast, it will have a “woah” sound. Besides playing tower defense levels inside the game, you can also participate in small game levels where you can earn more gold coins. An example is the “Fortune Field”.

Occasionally, when you choose a level, it will warn you of those monsters which you need to take note of before you start the level.

The main objective of this game is to protect your green gems fall into the hands of the enemy monsters. The monsters are in red or blue and have different characteristics. To fight the red monsters, you need to have a red tower or a semi red and blue tower. To fight the blue monsters, you can use the blue machine gun tower. When blue monsters pass by the red towers, the red towers can’t do anything so they will be sleeping. The same scenario will happens when red monsters pass by the blue towers. As for the semi blue and red towers, they are not really powerful in handling massive attacks by the red monsters. You need to build red towers specially to handle these attacks.

The game has a variety of landscapes where you start your tower defense adventures. In each of the landscapes, you need to change your strategy of placement of your units. What may work in the previous levels may not work again in the next levels.

As you kill each of the invading monsters, make sure you collect the gold coins they left behind. The money allows you to buy new defence units to fight against the invading force. Also, watch out for the number of remaining green gems you have. Once you have zero green gems, the game will end.

This game has all the elements I could ever wish of in a game. Every action you make will result in a sound being produced. In some of the new levels, a different music tune can be heard.

However, there is no useful information about the bosses under the help section. You can however tap on them when they appear in the game to find out more about their strengths and weaknesses.
