Bigfoot: Hidden Giant HD iPad Game Review

27 Aug

I have mixed thoughts about playing this game. Because the thought of finding Bigfoot in reality is a myth.

You take on the role of Linda who is on a mission to find Bigfoot. G5 Entertainments has released a series of hidden objects games before. This game is of the same genre of the previous games. However, to aid some of the users, the developers have included the shapes of the objects for you to find in the game. This is much better than looking at the words on the left and figuring where to find it in the picture.

I will not say the speed of my recognition of the hidden objects in the game is faster but it definitely helps in some ways.

There is no zoom feature in this game. You cannot zoom into objects and identify them. If you are lost, you just have to wait until the hint button turns green. To make up for this missing feature, certain objects have shinning characteristics. This implore the gamer to tap on them and find more hidden objects.

Sometimes, there are speech bubbles in the game which prompt you to do something else. For actions to be made, you need to tap on the axe button which represents the tools on the left menu. Drag the tool to the suggested place to perform the action.

In the below example, I used a rope and a tree branch to position the bottle to collect some chemical samples from the chemical waste.

There are some mini games you can play within the game. You can help assemble pieces of a treasure map or help pick up the rubbish and throw them in the bin in the forest.

Once you have completed some achievements, you can brag to your friends about them on Facebook by posting it on your wall.

This game does not have much interesting game elements when compared to the Lost Souls which I have reviewed earlier. But it can be a great time waster if you are interested in finding out whether the myth of Bigfoot is true.

Every progress you made in the game is stored in the Log book. You can review where you are in the game just by looking at it.

You can give the game a try by downloading the game on iTunes:

It is free to try out the game but you need to pay $6.99 to unlock the full version. If you want to uncover the secret if Bigfoot, you can try this game.
